IN THE REDD SESSION PARTNERS WITH NOLA COUNTY RADIO
Redd No. 7 is a studio owned and operated by Kevin Neal. He's worked with national/international artists and musicians including members of Ryan Bingham's Dead Horses, Imagine Dragons, Slipknot, Black Pumas, Sturgill Simpson, The Teskey Brothers, Liam Gerner, David Ramirez and many many more.
Occasionally Kevin invites touring artists to come to the studio and record a few tracks and enjoy the vibe of the studio in a relaxed atmosphere on a day off from touring. These have been dubbed “in The Redd” sessions.
Fall of 2022 Kevin connected with NOLA County Radio DJ Jimi Palacios to collaborate on these sessions. Jimi just won Ameripolitan DJ of the year award for 2023! He is a well respected voice and advocate within the Country Music/Americana music scene and has extensive experience with well over 1000 radio interviews. Everyone from Sarah Shook to Shakey Graves.
Together, Kevin and Jimi hope to not only have some killer studio tracks for our friends stopping by the studio, but to memorialize the good times that were had with a fun interview component to help promote the artists that participate in these sessions.
